Door Channel – Standard Door

NZ Building Code E3 – Internal Moisture and ASNZS 3500.2:2018 both refer to floor wastes and the prevention of free water overflow from one household unit to another.

The Standard Door and Cavity Door Channels are the only drains to ensure the full containment of such overflow. The location is at the threshold doorway into the bathroom/wetroom area where sanitary fixtures are situated.

The Door Channel replaces the position of the FWG in the middle of the bathroom/wetroom and ensures zero tolerance of water escaping to the dry areas of the home.

Material:

Grade 304 Stainless Steel (316 on request), 1.5mm thickness
TIG Welded and water tested

Standard door leaf sizes or custom lengths

Outlet options:

38mm spigot with o’ring
38mm threaded 
38mm 90degree bend

Outlet position:

Optional to suit project

Finishes:

Stainless Steel as standard, with optional powder coating for custom colors
